FINAL WEEK!

A new video released by Stand Up Michigan on Saturday is an eight-minute encapsulation of the first week that's passed since Karl Manke reopened his Owosso barber shop against Governor Whitmer's Executive Order to keep salons closed until May 28th.

Manke has been doing hair in Owosso for nearly 60 years.

Despite citations, the threat of arrest and fines and a now-impending court date, Manke says he plans to stay open until he's arrested "or until Jesus comes back."

Manke can be seen in the video joking at the prospect of jail time, saying "What are they gonna do? Give me life? I've got one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel!"
