Caitlyn Marie was shopping at Wal Mart in Owosso on Monday morning at around 10:30, she said in a Facebook post, when an unknown man approached her and grabbed her arm. "He kind of got in my face and said 'Oh I thought I knew you, I’m Jeremy,'" she wrote.
She went on shopping but soon after that encounter she spotted the man again and became nervous. She went to Customer Service for help, where she said she was told by employees that she was not the first person that day that had a questionable encounter with the man. One employee called security while another escorted her to checkout.

Caitlyn Marie then said she left Wal Mart and went to Aldi to finish her shopping. Caitlyn wrote that while checking out at Aldi, she was sharing with the Aldi employee about her scary situation, when others in line behind chimed in, informing her that the man had apparently followed her from Wal Mart to Aldi. She said "Sure enough I walked out and he was on the ground surrounded by 5 state troopers."
She's cautioning others, women specifically, about the real danger, even here at home, of human trafficking.
Michigan State Police Lt. David Kaiser told Corunna Now on Monday evening that per the Sergeant on scene, this was not a case of human trafficking or stalking. He said the man in question is homeless and the situation was blown out of proportion.
