In an effort to help prepare the area’s youth for a life of service and adult living, and to foster community unity and interdependence, the Salvation Army will be offering a free youth enrichment experience every Wednesday from 3pm to 5:15pm, starting Wednesday February 12th.

This group experience starts with a united gathering time of uplifting, live music and singing. Next, the youth and their friends get free lessons on how to play guitar and brass instruments, all of which are provided by the Salvation Army. This time is followed by a free dinner meal and caring conversation. Lastly, to develop character and ethical values, the group will experience the drama of the Bible unfolding as an episode of The Bible series plays on the big screen!

There's more to the story!  Keep reading!

NEW EPISODE
Season 3 Episode 1: The Chair - 1.24.20

Two years ago Josh Strickland purchased an antique chair that purportedly spent decades in the old Owosso Post Office. Today a photo was shared in the Historic Owosso Facebook group. In the photo, a man is sitting in a similar chair. While the thread attempts to figure out who is pictured and where in Owosso the photo was taken, one user suggests that it may have been in the old post office.
