The National Weather Service says prepare for storms this afternoon and evening and expect that some could be severe.

The agency says some storms could produce golf ball size hail or even larger. Wind gusts of up to 70 miles per hour could cause damage to structures, trees and power lines. Prepare for the possibility of an outage.
