Theresa Kay has been the Easter Bunny in Corunna for many years, she said.  This year's annual hunt was postponed -- maybe cancelled -- so the Easter Bunny decided to hop on downtown with a sign that reads "We support all Frontline workers!"

The sign references essential employees that are going to work everyday despite the COVID-19 risk, all for the health, safety and well-being of others.

"Frontline workers are giving all of themselves to sustain/save us and children everywhere are missing their normal activities. I just felt that wearing the suit and holding the sign would impact all who saw me," she said.  "I am beyond grateful for all the workers who continue to show up every single day so that all of us can live."

Pickler went on to say "I am a business owner and I am scared but I am not angry over the Governor’s order.  I am scared for my small business and all small businesses but I am more scared for our lives; for all lives. The lives of everyone in this community, this state, this country, and quite frankly, our entire world are much more important than my small business. I need, very much, to show my gratitude to everyone that is doing their best to protect me and everyone else in this world."
