BeGole said a 75 year old man from Pontiac who was driving a 1999 Dodge Ram truck pulled to the side of the road for an unknown reason.  The man then did a u-turn and began driving in the wrong direction.  As cars veered out of the path of the truck, a Kia Sportage, driven by a 41 year old woman from Grand Blanc, did not clear the path of the truck and the vehicles collided head-on.  Both drivers were killed.

BeGole said it's currently unknown why the man pulled over and why he turned around and began driving the wrong way and that the investigation is ongoing.  He was not wearing a seatbelt.

The crash occurred shortly after 10am.
