Businesses To Take Part In January Job Fair

On Tuesday, January 14th, several area employers will host a joint job fair, looking to fill hundreds of open positions.

Durand Senior Care & Rehab Center is looking for CNAs, Nurses and Dietary.

Memorial Healthcare is looking to fill more than one hundred positions in a variety of areas, ranging from Dietary to Nursing and CNA to Housekeeping to Imaging and more. Wages vary.

Right At Home In Home Care & Assistance is looking for part time and full time caregivers, HHAs and CNAs, with pay ranging from $10 to $12 per hour.

But it's not all health related work.

Indian Trails needs full time bus drivers based out of Owosso, Kalamazoo and Romulus. Paid training and CDL certification is available for new hires and positions feature a competitive salary.
 
Randy Wise Automotive in Durand is looking for office staff at $12 per hour, a salaried BDR representative and Techs; wage varies.

CIE Newcor MTG of Owosso has 2nd and 3rd shifts available for a variety of positions, paying as much as $17 per hour. Machine Operators ($12.56), Quality Inspector ($12.97), Material Handlers ($13.17), Quality Tech and Heat Treat Tech ($16.64) and Manufacturing Tech ($17). Additionally, positions include medical, dental, vision, FSA and 401K with employer match and 13 holidays per year.

This Multi-Employer Job Fair will be held on the second floor of the GST Michigan Works! office at 1975 West Main Street in Owosso. Arrive at noon to review your resume and prepare for interviews. The Job Fair begins at 1pm.
