Supporting teachers is only one area where our Education Foundation supports Corunna Public Schools. Founded in 1984 with a mission to preserve and enhance educational opportunities for students and staff of the Corunna Public Schools, the Foundation provides financial support in the form of scholarships and funding of mini-grants for classroom projects. In addition, the Foundation gives funding to provide for the unique and supplemental education of individual students. The Foundation has assisted the school district in providing a state-of-the-art technology program (they were key in upgrading our wifi a few years ago).

The Foundation’s main fundraiser is its annual dinner raffle, scheduled for 6 p.m. April 29, 2020, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Owosso. Tickets are $60 each; it comes with two dinner tickets (extra dinner tickets are available for $10 each) and a chance to win lots of money. The grand prize is $1,500. If you are interested in purchasing a ticket (or investing in a portion of one), please call (989) 743-6338.
